Not that simple. The side special can be cancelled and dropped right in front of Mario, making caping it useless. Though you can cape the up smash projectile, if you were close enough to it, you'd probably get hit by it first (besides, you'd be better off going at Snake directly if you had the time). His broken hitboxes is where the real problem lies. You need to keep your distance, build damage, launch him once, and try and gimp his recovery.

A good Snake won't: C4 recovery. He blows himself up and gets his up-b back.

Having it as a dair opens up more possibilities than having FLUDD, in my opinion. If FLUDD had just a little more push, though, it would be so much more than a situational tool.

I totally agree. If F.L.U.D.D had just a little more power, OR the ability of using it in air to hover, it would be an awesome upgrade. But sadly it isn't so we'll just have to live with it.

Better yet, if they combine the FLUDD and the tornado together, sorta like the "sprinkler spin jump" in Super Mario Sunshine, it'd really be in business.

Yeah, I rather play a character with some decent way of getting out of combos (Yoshi with his super armor, adn also Luigi with his extremly low stuntime) or someone with projectiles that they didn't expect (as in being Ness and randomly start spanning PK thunders out of you ass).

People who underestimate Yoshi don't know how valuable the air game is, there is NO stopping Yoshi once he's jumped.

This kid has never played Yoshi lol. I main Yoshi in Melee, and I used to main him while I played Brawl. If you jump and don't have a plan on what to do, you're pretty much screwed. Exept if you know to abuse his duper armor. For example, Vs a Falco on battlefield or Dreamland 64 (or any look a like stages in Brawl)... Get him chasing after you to the ledge, jump up on a platform then jump out facing the stage, he will instantly try to dair you, so before he hits you (if you think you're up enough) double jump - forward air - fastfall (if needed) and then try to airdodge up or up B in brawl. If you hit with your F-air he will probably die at 30%+ because he got supprised that you took the advantage in less then a sec :D (I made up this stratigy myself, and it have gotten it to work like 70% of the tries.
